Mumma Daughter TimeΒ

As I’ve recently gone back to work, it has definitely made me appreciate the time we have during the week together.  Lucky for me, I only have to work two days a week, so the remainder of the week I get to spend it with my Gracie!

We now adventure round more and it is a lot of fun, and also seeing as she’s older and wants to explore more.

My husband studies pure mathematics at the moment while playing semi professional rugby league, so when he’s at uni sometimes we like to drop in and see him on break.  That’s what we did the other day and while he was in class, we got to play in the Botannical Gardens… such fun!

As you can see below, Grace would rather be swinging or walking than in her pram haha.

Love this cutie 😍😍😍😍

Water babes πŸ’¦

Love how excited my little bambino gets in the water! Her smile is contagious 😍

The weather has been hideous at the moment so any chance on getting into the water (or aircon apart from home) we jump at!

You know your in Queensland though when the water is really not cold, its lukewarm πŸ˜‚ haha

This is a throwback, about a few weeks ago,Β when I went to the Queensland Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA). Β They have this amazing exhibition, perfect for the kids! Β How awesome is this fur wall (see below), seems to me to be channeling Dr Seuss!

Gracie was having an absolute ball. Β Her little face says it all!

Adventurous Trio πŸƒπŸŒ΄πŸŒ

I love that as soon as your baby is born into this world, they seem to slow your life down (in a good way).  Your no longer caught in the hustle and bustle of life and you are more appreciative of the simple things.

I have always been a city chic at heart having been born in the city, but when I married my husband we moved to what I call far far away from the city (mind you it’s only 40mins away, which still is far).  Now, unlike I would pre-babies, have become an adventure seeking and outdoor loving person.  It’s truly amazing how you change once you have kids, and I don’t just mean becoming adventurous or anything like that, but how you grow up really.  I am totally blessed entering motherhood and enjoying this exciting new beginning of our lives really.  It’s made me realise how easily you get caught up in people’s crap, spend money like your rolling in it and sleeping like there is no tomorrow (what is sleep now lol).
On another not so deep and meaningful note, we drove up to Montville and Maleny (where we got married, and have barely been since) for a fun adventure day with Gracie.  It’s situated in the Sunshine Coast hinterland and is absolutely beautiful, quaint little old town with coffee shops and cute little shops in the main drag.  We spent morning tea at Little May Cafe (best coffee ever) πŸ™ŒπŸ½ and great fresh coconut water juices for the little babes, and proceeded to the waterfalls in Maleny.

It’s awesome how Gracie has made us put in some effort to get out and explore the places which are literally so close to us, and how amazing that we only live 40 mins from here!?! This is now on the regular.  It’s amazing what a few hours does to kids, passed out and was sleeping like an angel in the car.  It’s funny how you find things to keep them entertained, it’s never ending.  Seeing their beautiful little happy faces light up when they are having that much fun makes it SO worth it, it doesn’t take that much effort either.  Bloody love this little babe and my bigger babe 😍
